A message from the President

Welcome to New Hampshire's Community Technical College (NHCTC) at Stratham & Portsmouth. We are honored to serve the educational needs of the Seacoast communities, and strive to provide access to educational opportunities that meet your individual interests and aspirations. We welcome your visit and inquiry.

The future requires that New Hampshire residents seek educational development and skill enhancement to stay competitive regionally as well as in the global marketplace. This competition for jobs and skills requires that you be a life long learner to adjust your skills to market demands.

Your community college at Stratham & Portsmouth is best positioned to prepare you for these opportunities. You can soon start on a path toward a four-year degree by enrolling in one of our transfer programs, or you can prepare for direct entry into a high demand, high skill job by enrolling in one of our career certificate or associate degree programs.

So, if your current job skills are putting you at a disadvantage, or not placing you on a path towards a rewarding career; if you would like to move forward with the college education you put on hold years ago; or if you simply would like to take a course to learn something just for fun, Stratham & Portsmouth has the quality programs and courses to enrich your life.

With flexible schedules to meet most needs, an excellent faculty, an exciting variety of programs and courses with academic and support services to assist you along the way, and affordable tuition rates, NHCTC is the place for you! If you are currently employed, you may want to check with your employer; in many instances they have programs to finance all or part of your educational expenses.
